Awhile ago I created a poll to ask which kind of blog you wanted to see in the series, the showtime was a Fandom Weblog and the next were:
Quiz and Game blogs for the tie. I oasis't had much fourth dimension to come up with cloth for a quiz web log, or any proper blog blog nearly the whole of January, but hopefully this blog will make it up for now. When I have time, the Quiz Weblog will come soon, then for at present, I will get into a game I was able to play over the summer with an English Patch.
Oh and I'll keep it as spoiler free as possible if you lot ever effort the game out for yourself.
This game is Detective Conan: The Mechanical Temple Murder Case, Japanese Championship:名探偵コナン からくり寺院殺人事件 (Meitantei Konan: Karakuri Jiin Satsujin Jiken) which came out in February 25, 2000. This game revolves around a case of a by Ran's friend Miki and the disappearance of her older sister. The disappearance leads them to a temple which was the last place Miki's sister took an interest in.
The game over all had a good story, and is perfect if you are the kind who prefers more story than activeness. The primary theme of class plays in the intro of the game and what would it be without that vocal we all have come up to recognize?
In that location are 3 salvage spots and information technology'southward for a expert reason. Once you lot terminate the game to the finish, reloading the game just makes you come across the end results. I'll explicate that in the end.
The beginnings start off with tutorial style, trying to learn and understand what to practise and how to do something. You tin walk around and explore the surface area given and observe clues to solve the mystery. At that place is also the power to swap out players and go someone other than Conan for a time. Swappable characters include, Mouri Ran, Mouri Kogoro, and Hattori Heiji.
One time you lot accept establish your clues, you organize and analyze your thoughts and clues to describe a final conclusion that leads to solving the mystery.
If y'all do bandy out characters, they will also have admission to the clues and profiles Conan makes, but non everyone would be able to sympathise what Conan is thinking, like Kogoro hither.
Similar many games with a agglomeration of dialogue, especially Visual Novels, there are choices you make that can affect the story. Saying the wrong matter can hurt your terminate results badly.
Ah I almost forgot to mention, Haibara Ai is nowadays on this case and is helpful somewhat. Merely unfortunately she is non swappable.
Equally you tin can see, this is the roll she plays as she gets so upset and mad at Conan while lying on the Futon.
One last thing I didn't mention was depending on what swapped character you lot use, it can affect the mode people respond to ane another. For example, because Conan is a kid, he gets treated like ane, just someone like Hattori and Ran will get treated more respectfully. Kogoro with have more authority since he is an adult and especially when the suspects notice out he is a detective.
Also swapping characters produces funny results, a funny i being the gif in a higher place.
In the end, we all know it will be a Case Closed! :tada: Oh and remember what I said about results? Well, here is what I mean:
I did not practise and so well, only that'south what happens when exploring the game and playing around, non directly solving the mystery. I didn't know in that location was a grading arrangement, so that shocked me in the end. Anyway...
Well actually not completely game over, because this case carries on into the 2nd GBA game called Detective Conan: Fable of the Treasure of Strange Rock Island, Japanese Title:名探偵コナン 奇岩島秘宝伝 (Meitantei Konan: Kiganshima Hihō Densetsu). In that game, Miki and her sister will solve the mystery left behind by this case.
────────────
Well, overall, this game was an interesting ane. The manner is GBC, Conan but looks so larger than the residuum of the characters in his pixelated design. Controls are a little difficult at outset, merely with the tutorial equally practise, you go use to maneuvering the character around. It does get a little ho-hum to walk back and along to question suspects and find clues you may take missed the first time around. The fun parts come from the reactions of the other people and the solving the mystery as the petty Meitantei. If you do end up playing this game, be ready for a mystery, traps, and lots of story. :D Oh before I finish this, here are some bonus screenshots of my gameplay:
